Very hardy top-setting onion. Fun and practical in the garden! Use the bulbs that form at the ends of the leaves as small onions, use the green shoots as chives or green onions. Very easy to propagate as each bulb will produce a new plant--hence the name "walking" onion, as it drops its bulbs, it walks around the garden. Unique and beautiful--a true must-have in every kitchen garden.
